Machining & finishing

At PMA Components, we provide machining and finishing services for components in cast iron, steel, aluminium and forged parts. We offer a broad range of machining operations, including milling and turning, which allows us to produce reliable, high-quality components for sectors such as automotive, agriculture, heating industry and machine building. With a strong focus on precision, consistency and process reliability, we help our customers move from drawing to finished component with confidence.

In daily production, we work with a combination of CNC milling centres and multi-spindle turning machines. This allows us to machine multiple parts simultaneously and maintain consistent quality across medium-sized series.

Machining

Machining is at the heart of what we do. Our capabilities cover a wide range of operations, including milling and turning, which enables us to produce everything from relatively simple products to more complex components. This broad machining capability allows us to meet tight tolerances and deliver consistent quality across a wide range of applications.

We manufacture both existing parts according to drawing and components that benefit from further optimisation during production. By thinking along with our customers about manufacturability, process stability and quality, we help improve cost efficiency without compromising functionality. This practical approach enables us to deliver reliable components that meet both technical requirements and day to day production demands.

Finishing

In addition to machining, we support our customers with the finishing steps needed to deliver components that fit smoothly into the next stage of production. Our washing and drying capabilities help ensure that components are supplied clean and ready for further handling, assembly or delivery.

Combined with practical support in marking, packaging and transport, this helps reduce unnecessary handling and ensures that our customers receive components in the right condition and in line with their logistical requirements.

Our facilities

Turning: 8 CNC lathes, including DOOSAN PUMA V550 and DOOSAN PUMA TT1800/1500 machines, for accurate and efficient turning of cylindrical and contour-based components with high repeatability.
Milling: 7 machining centres, including DOOSAN VFC 850, DOOSAN NHP 6300 and CHIRON FZ 15 S machines, for flexible machining of complex geometries from multiple angles with fewer set ups and consistent precision.
Measuring and quality control: DOOSAN WENZEL LH 87 measuring machine for accurate dimensional inspection and reliable quality control throughout the machining process.
Washing & drying: industrial washing and drying capabilities, including a drum washing unit and a throughfeed washing unit, to supply clean components ready for the next step in the process.
Packaging & transport: laser marking, shipment ready packaging and transport by land, sea or air, ensuring components are identifiable, well protected and delivered as required.
